September went by in a flash!  We started the month with our annual visit from the Color Clown and her handler!  You could hear the laughs on Dallas Avenue!  She made sure we knew all our colors, and we certainly did!  We can't wait until next year!

     Our Kindergarten class enjoyed having donuts with their grandparents on the playground for Grandparents Day!  

     Nursery Rhymes are such an important part of preschool, and beginning reading in Kindergarten- so what a special way to honor both by having Mother Goose fly in from England!  The children loved dressing up as their favorite rhyme and showing her how well they knew it!  

     Next it was time for Johnny Appleseed to stop by!  We all wore green !  And what do you know!  He planted a Granny Smith Apple Tree right in our carpool line!  He also helped the 4k and 5k plant their very own Oak Tree in a cup to take home to plant in their yard !

     We completed the month with Cooking Week!  We popped popcorn, iced cookies, made cotton candy, made homemade ice cream , and painted some animal crackers- to name a few!!  It was a yummy week at school!

     Now, on to ghosts, goblins, and pumpkins, too!!
